Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)

1. Objective

The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is constituted to: Address grievances of students and staff promptly and fairly. Ensure transparency and accountability in grievance handling. Maintain a harmonious and supportive institutional environment.

3. Roles & Responsibilities

The committee shall: Receive and acknowledge complaints. Conduct impartial inquiry and investigation. Maintain confidentiality of complainant details. Recommend appropriate corrective actions. Ensure timely resolution of grievances.

4.Redressal Procedure

  1. Complaint received and recorded.
  2. Acknowledgment within 2–3 working days.
  3. Preliminary review by the committee.
  4. Investigation and interaction with concerned parties.
  5. Resolution within 7–15 working days.
  6. Communication of decision to the complainant.

The Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is constituted to: Prevent discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, ethnicity, disability, or socio-economic status. Promote equality, inclusiveness, and respect among students and staff. Ensure a safe and unbiased academic and work environment.

The committee shall: Promote awareness on anti-discrimination policies and practices Receive and investigate complaints of discrimination. Ensure fair and unbiased inquiry Maintain confidentiality of complaints. Recommend corrective and disciplinary actions Promote inclusive practices within the institution

4. Redressal Procedure

Receipt of complaint and entry in register. Acknowledgment within 2–3 working days. Preliminary assessment of complaint. Detailed inquiry with concerned parties. Resolution within 7–15 working days. Communication of outcome to complainant.

Gender Sensitization Committee (GSC)

1. Objective

The Gender Sensitization Committee (GSC) is constituted to: Promote gender equality and awareness. Prevent gender discrimination and harassment. Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students and staff. The committee will meet at least once every semester. Emergency meetings may be called in case of urgent issues.

  • Organize gender sensitization programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
  • Address issues related to gender discrimination or harassment.
  • Encourage equal participation of all genders in institutional activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling complaints.
  • Coordinate with Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) if required.
